When I synced with Trakt, I noticed that hidden items did not get synced, but had to be manually done and I did so.
After I unhid hidden items on trakt.tv, I had to manually remove them from the app too.
This whole thing should be done automatically and there should be no additional option.

Yes and it’s very frustrating to say the least.
There is no good Trakt endpoint to load the items in the background at the moment.
I have to rewrite the sync tasks.
I use an app called Watcht on iOS and its able to show everything on the fly, with zero scope of so called synchronization.
