Fairly often, TV shows may appear in TMDb for some period of time and later be either changed from TV show to movie listings or removed altogether. If we add one of these shows to our history and/or one of the various Moviebase lists while it is included on TMDb and then the show listing disappears from TMDb, Moviebase becomes confused if we try to access the detail listing for such a show from one of our Moviebase lists. Moviebase just sits and “spins” forever trying to access the show’s details. If will do this until we interrupt it.
Moviebase needs to recognize this type of event and perhaps give us a message saying the show is no longer listed in TMDb. This would give us the opportunity to address the change in show status appropriately and not have Moviebase “hang”, as it should never do.
