Several times I have seen the below message when trying to open Moviebase on my phone. In all cases, if I close the message and try to start Moviebase again, it works.

Yes, it is still happening multiple times per week. My guess is that you have a time-out waiting for a response from Google Play Services. In every case, a second try to start the app works. If I am correct, waiting a bit longer for the response might fix the problem.
