I think it should clear everything, including all the history. This is especially important for being able to clear the no longer valid history we discussed, when items have been removed from TMDb, for instance. It doesn’t seem to be clearing everything in the history.

I just wanted to let you know that I investigated every difference between the data on the system I backed up and the data on the system where I did the restore with the clear previous items option selected.
In every case, the difference is caused by old, since deleted, TMDb items that are not on the system I backed up but are on the system where I did the restore even though i used the clear previous data option. The history is definitely not being cleared properly by the clear previous items option.
The items that were different were things like:
Movies that had been deleted on TMDb
TV episodes that were previously listed in two parts but are now just one in TMDb
Special TV episodes that had been removed from TMDb
Fixing the restore function to completely clear the old history, when that option is selected, will help a lot with cleaning up those old, now incorrect, entries in the history.
