I am now running Moviebase version 5.3.3 with the new Insights screen. First of all, thank you for working hard to bring us a better statistics display.
On my display I see two numbers that don’t make sense at all. See screenshot below. It shows an entry for “Lists”. I assume that should be a count of personal lists for a user. Mine shows 50, and I don’t have close to 50 lists, even if it includes standard lists provided automatically by Moviebase. Also, there is an entry for “Saved in lists”. Mine shows a value of 100. I have several thousand movies and shows in my personal lists, so I don’t understand this number at all.
Other comments:
In general, I think it is better if we can always have separate counts for movies and TV shows, although providing an overall total is also nice. There are two graphs of Genres. I assume one is for the Overall counts and one is for the Watchlist items. I guess they combine movies and TV shows. That’s OK, but still it’s not very clear what they are and what they include, and I still prefer to separate movies from TV shows.
It appears that Stopped shows and Hidden shows are the same thing. I think it is a little confusing to have two different names for the same thing. I see no place to see a list of stopped shows. One has to look at the hidden list. Why have two different ways to refer to the same thing? It just seems to add confusion, at least to me.
On the old status screen we had a count of Special episodes watched. I would like to see that added back.
Overall, I think the new screen is an improvement. I just think it needs to be clearer about what it is showing, and I think providing more separation of movies and TV shows would be helpful.
