Yes, I can confirm these too.
Portrait or landscape ; virtual keyboard or hardware keyboard.
With the latest update, the application closes when using the magnifying glass to perform a search. Confirmed !

Search function is working again, great job!

Sorry for the issue. There was a small library bug, which I fixed fast, but Google takes a bit of time for the release.
